IMBALANCES AND TREATMENTDefine health and the cause of disease. Learn the general signs and symptoms of imbalance as well as basic principles of treatment. This weekend will include studies on dhatus, subdoshas and ama (toxins)
June 25-26FOOD, NUTRITION, AND THE SIX TASTES
FOOD, NUTRITION, AND THE SIX TASTESLearn the six tastes, as well as their therapeutic actions. Dietary habits, food lists and treating imbalances with diet are all addressed.
July 23-24HERBS AND HERBAL FORMULAS
HERBS AND HERBAL FORMULASLearn to develop formulas; making capsules, tea bags and herbal oils, while determining appropriate dosages. Study Prabhava as well as the effect of various herbs on doshas, subdoshas, and dhatus.

PULSE AND TONGUE ANALYSISLearn the diagnostic tools of analyzing the pulse as well as the tongue. Including a study on the pulse map.

AYURVEDA ENERGY THERAPIESStudy the Law of action and reaction, also known as Karma and the Origin of disease, known as Ego. Learn about the Gunas and the spirit, Manas and the mind, as well as mental diseases.
Workshop Hours: 9am-12pm & 1pm-4pm on Saturdays & Sundays
Workshop Cost: $300/class or $250/class if the entire series is purchased *
*If attending entire series, you do not have to pay in advance. We will require a credit card number, and charge $250 the day of the workshop, every month.
